Noor Bank (Noor) has been named ‘Best Corporate Finance Solutions Provider - UAE’ at the Islamic Finance Awards 2014, organised by the London based Capital Finance International (CFI) magazine.
The title recognises Noor’s delivery of outstanding Shari’a compliant corporate finance solutions that are provided in consultation with a skilled team of professional advisers. The Award’s distinguished judging panel comprising 160 decision makers from the fields of business journalism, corporate leadership and academia also applauded Noor Bank for its innovations and ability to build enduring relationships with clients.
In winning the distinction, Noor becomes the first bank in the region to be recognised in the award category.
Noor Bank’s latest accolade complements its number one ranking on the 2013 Bloomberg League Tables for EMEA Islamic Syndicate Book Runner as well as EMEA Islamic Syndicate Mandated Arranger.
Since its inception in 2012, CFI’s Islamic Finance Awards have aimed to identify organisations that deliver quality performance and service excellence. Winners are selected regardless of size, stature or perceived strengths and are determined by an expert panel of judges from a shortlist of up to three or four strong nominees. For the initial round of the evaluation process, each nominee is selected by readers and magazine subscribers, prior to an examination by the judges.
